Job Description

Role & responsibilities

1. Define Delivery Governance processes

a. Governance Framework: Define a governance framework that outlines the roles and responsibilities of stakeholders involved in delivery governance, including the delivery team, business units, and executive management covering forecasting, capacity planning and scheduling

b. Performance Metrics: Define performance metrics that measure the effectiveness of the delivery process, including metrics for project delivery, resource utilization, financial performance, customer satisfaction, and quality assurance

c. Project Management: Define project management processes that ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with quality standards. This includes defining project scope, creating project plans, managing project risks, and conducting project reviews.

d. Quality Management: Define quality management processes that ensure the quality of delivery services. This includes establishing quality standards, conducting quality audits, and ensuring compliance with quality requirements.

e. Change Management: Define change management processes that ensure changes to project scope, schedule, or budget are managed effectively. This includes defining change management procedures, assessing change impact, and communicating changes to stakeholders.

f. Risk Management: Define risk management processes that identify and mitigate risks that could impact project delivery. This includes conducting risk assessments, creating risk management plans, and monitoring risk exposure.

g. Communication: Define communication processes that ensure stakeholders are informed of project status, risks, and issues. This includes creating communication plans, conducting regular status meetings, and providing regular project reports.

h. Continuous Improvement: Define continuous improvement processes that promote innovation and process improvement within the delivery organization. This includes identifying opportunities for process improvement, implementing new tools and technologies, and encouraging creative thinking and problem-solving.

2. Implement Delivery: Delivery Head will implement all the delivery processes/ methodology in the delivery organisation and institutionalize these.

3. Delivery Governance: Delivery Head will ensure, through delivery governance, that all delivery processes are being used as per their intended purposes and any deviations or non-compliances are identified proactively.
